Bidra med feedbackTo start off, the place looks great. It has a chill yet family friendly atmosphere with kind and attentive employees. The food was absolutely delicious and the place serves as a modern touch in the town of Gettysburg. A great refresher to the usual historic architecture. But the prices are ridiculous. I got the Hummus and Labneh Duo which was $11. Super high quality food but at most should be like $8. Along with a Pepperoni pizza for $17. Granted, delicious high quality pizza, but could at most feed 2 people. I?ve been to places for the same quality and size where the pie was $8. To finish off I had the $10 Cocoa Brownie which had a creamy rich vanilla ice cream on top of a decent brownie. This one could barely feed 2 people, granted it?s a dessert. A high quality place but with way too high prices. Come if you have a special occasion or date.
Staff is kind and helpful. Nice place to unwind and relax on a warm summer Saturday evening with the windows open giving an feeling of being outdoors while being indoors, which is a unique touch that let's sunlight in and creates a unique atmosphere. Levi, our waiter was attentive. The gentleman who initially assisted was helpful in answering several questions with a cheerful attitude. Our Margherita pizza had a nice flavor, but wasn't what we were expecting, as the usual Margherita pizza has melted medallions of mozzarella. It's neat to see your pizza dough being formed and cooking in the fire oven! We enjoyed our drinks and will return to try other menu items.
Great little place half a block from downtown round a bout. Great for family?s free games and family friendly atmosphere. We sat outside with our dog. Pizzas were great a little pricey but not terrible. Service was friendly and quick. Lots of selections on beer and food. The pretzel Mac and cheese bites were delicious as an appetizer.
The staff at the nearby David Wills House recommended The Upper Crust for a quick bite in a nice and open restaurant. I got to sit at a table along the front wall, which was all open. It had just rained but it was a beautifully covered area with fresh air. My server, Mia, was an absolute delight. She was serving multiple tables but was just the right amount of attentiveness. She checked in on me, refilled my drink without my needing to ask, and was friendly and talkative. She also didn't laugh at my little travel buddy. It was a perfect way to start my long weekend visit. I had the four cheese with garlic and it was sooo delicious! The smallest is 12 inches so I had to take some back to my hotel, but it's just as delicious warmed up.
Food was delicious. Drinks were great. Service was horrendous. We waited 25 minutes before someone even came to our table, and that was after I stopped one of the waitresses and asked who our server was. Our waiter finally came over with no apology for the delay. Water took another 5 minutes. Bar drinks came out with our meal. Food and drinks were delivered by someone other than our waiter. Our waiter never came over to check in and ask how the food was. The check came 10 minutes after we were finished with our food, again because I asked someone to track down our waiter.
