Chef Vargas In Elk - Glenside

Cute little spot in the cut! Delicious food and great service! They have some gluten free options. The Chicken Birria were soooo good! Must try place!

We went there for a branch burger a few times because we liked it. This time we decided to eat at home so I ordered take out. When we opened our order we were shocked: home fries (signature) were cold and looked like charcoal, eggs usually served sunny side up were a piece of very dry yellowish substance, one of the bans was sweetened. When I picked up the order I did not see the chef Vargas in the kitchen, there was a female cook.

I searched this place last minute for mother's day. I ordered the le creme brulle french toast, which was amazing. Only complaint was that cajeta iced coffee didn't taste like it had any cajeta.

Tasty food, good portions, cozy atmosphere, polite staff!
