Bidra med feedbackThey truly serve the best sandwiches I've ever tasted. The tangy bread they prepare is exceptional, and all their ingredients are fresh, local, and seasonal, coming together to create amazing flavor combinations. Although the prices might be slightly higher than what you'd expect for a regular sandwich, I wouldn't hesitate to enjoy their sandwiches every day because they're absolutely worth it. The ambiance is also inviting, and the owners are some of the warmest people you'll ever meet.
I absolutely love this place! The food is amazing. Their bread is incredible, and honestly, everything on the menu is a favorite of mine. The creativity in their dishes is impressive, yet they still manage to be delicious. You have to try the tomato soup; you won't regret it. If you're visiting the city, this is definitely a must-visit spot. For locals, it’s such a welcoming place that you’ll feel right at home. Plus, they host a monthly pop-up event that I highly recommend attending. It’s a small gathering where everyone sits at a long communal table, and Chef Seth serves a series of stunning seasonal dishes. You really feel like you're part of a larger community, and believe me, the food tastes fantastic!
I really enjoy the soups, and the sourdough bread is fantastic. The sandwiches are great too. However, I can't shake the feeling that I’m being a bit taken advantage of each time I visit. The prices are just too high. My girlfriend and I ended up spending $50 for lunch for two, which feels a bit unreasonable for what we received. Also, I think it’s time to retire tomato soup—it's not my favorite.
Delicious food and beautiful presentation. They definitely live food. Not your average soup and salad space and can be a little expensive for students. Your pop-up meal sounds like a great weekend. I definitely go back.
Visited shortly before closing yesterday. The staff were friendly and happy to share their opinions on the various foods they offered that worked with being pescatarian. The interior is thoughtfully laid out, with a diverse mixture of seating arrangements, from casual, to high tops, and traditional restaurant style. The walls are tastefully decorated and scattered throughout the store are displays showcasing wide selection of provisions, coffee, tea, honey, cured meat, cheese, and beverages they offer. It is hard to imagine that at one time this building housed a convenience store and a fish mongers. I ordered the tuna sandwich to go. The sourdough bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Good sized serving of tuna with the right compliment of spread, lettuce and relish. I also ordered a large sourdough loaf to take for home. A choice I certainly didn't regret!
