Great food. Great prices. Met the owner and she's a terrific lady. I wish them nothing but great success.

The food, atmosphere and service were amazing. My kids loved it. I will 100% be going back.

We visited Highland Local for the first time for their Disney Trivia this past week. We called ahead to reserve a table and saw our reserved spot as soon as we came in. Our server was super friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. My husband ordered one of the beers, and I had one of the fruit mocktails which were both good. We placed our orders for the Everything Pretzel, Duck Wontons, Fish Chips and Chicken Curry special. Our food took a while to come out; we waited over an hour for our appetizers. Our server was very apologetic which we appreciated. When our main entrees came my husband's entree was wrong. He got a chicken sandwich but he had ordered the chicken curry. Again, our server was very apologetic and offered to let us keep the sandwich and get the curry as well free of charge. She explained that they had new cooks in the kitchen that night. As for the food, the fish was a bit bland and my fries were a bit undercooked. I did not want to ask for a remake knowing how long we had waited for our other food. I swapped my fries with the ones from the sandwich and they were crispier and well-seasoned, but I did not eat the fish. My husband said he liked the chicken curry special. As I said, our server was great, apologetic and did take off items from our bill. The trivia was also fun, but the food was just not great for me personally. However, we could definitely tell that there were regulars at the restaurant, and with the new cooks, it might just have been an off night. Check it out for yourself and support a small business!

Love this place!!! Love the owner, love the staff, love the food, love the drink offerings, love the ambiance, love the energy. Even if you have to go out of your way to check them out, I highly recommend you do so... You won't be disappointed!

The food was excellent. Nice selection of beers on tap. Clean and friendly staff. We will go back.
