Hale's - Hillsboro

2022 Brunch with my in laws on 4th of July at Hale's was really fantastic. Wait time was short and the service was great. Coffee was constantly filled and always checked if we needed anything. Food was good and right portions, greatly priced.

The food was great! This place was busy, but I got a seat at the bar with no wait. The waitress came up and took my order right away, and was friendly but seemed a little bit scattered because it was at the peak of lunch. I ended up giving her around a 23% tip, the food was amazing. Where else can you find Mahi Mahi around here? I bet you can find it some places, but it certainly isn't very common. The salsa was very spicy, I ordered an extra side of rice just because I knew I'd still be hungry. Turns out the salsa required something easy and blander like rice. Rice paired great with the Mahi Mahi Wrap. I'm sure I'll be back.

We like to eat as a family in the lounge, but lately the rudeness of the evening bartender has led to us wanting to leave. Unfriendly, and always too busy to even acknowledge us. You need a new bartender!!

Service was a bit slow even to get waters. Food was average.

Everything was definitely very tasty, family atmosphere, very friendly waitress. Etc.
