Taft Street Cafe - Hollywood

I can't believe it's been three years since my last review of this place. I've returned many times, and it hasn't changed at all. The food is consistently good, the prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. They are still open for breakfast and lunch only. I usually go in late and am always craving their ham and cheese omelet, hash browns, and a side of their delicious sausage gravy. The omelets are massive—definitely enough for two regular appetites. I've never gone for lunch, but this morning I saw what looked like a two-inch thick egg salad sandwich. I still drive a long way to get there, but it's always worth it.

I drive 10 miles just for their omelettes. The priciest item on the menu is steak and eggs, priced at $9.25. They are open every day from 7 AM to 3 PM. It might be a bit challenging to locate them, as they're situated at the back of a multi-story building, but it's definitely worth the search. The food and service are consistently excellent.
