Roma Deli - Holmes

I have never had such a pleasant experience over the phone ordering lunch meat anywhere else but here. The young fella that answers the calls for the deli area was so kind and he really makes sure you have your order correctly when repeated back. On a Friday evening damn near a half hour before it closed at 8 I had to get lunch meat, thinking I was too late to order and thinking he would give me a hard time I was wrong, he calmly took my order and was very nice. I didn’t get no attitude or cocky looks because of the time. He does his work no hesitation. There’s been plenty of times where I caught attitude towards me at other places and they weren’t close to even closing. I was very thankful pleased and grateful.

Our family was dealing with the loss of a family member, Shawn and Catt immediately asked what could they do to help our family during this difficult time and sent us so much excellent food we could feed an army , many thanks to them for their help and compassion during this tough time for our family

Love, love their hoagies. Get the Italian, you won't be disappointed.

Great selection of meats, quality ingredients, awesome crew. You'll find no better hoagie place.

The staff are really friendly and very nice. This is definitely your neighborhood deli where everyone knows each other and they're all on good terms. Now- I ordered a hot pastrami on rye. I did not get pastrami. Idk what meat it was but wasn't pastrami. It was pink like ham, but not ham. I got a generous amount of it. And it was served hot and on rye like I reqeuested but it was no way pastrami. Pastrami is a nice a dark pink/red with that black pepper outline and lots of nice salty grizzly fat in it. I did not get pastrami. I wish I has taken a pic but I didn't peat all of it and I didn't save it. I would go back. But not for a sandwich. Maybe whatever they're famous for.... Guess I will have to go back to NYC or North Jersey to get a real pastrami on rye.
