Creekbend Cafe - Hope

Awesome service! Super friendly, prompt and accurate. The food had great portions and good flavor. We had fish and chips, mushroom soup, wedge salad with salmon, and chicken fingers.

Wow. Not even sure what just happened. I was lost on the one road here and ended up in heaven listening to Medium Build rock the rain away. Like, what? How have I never heard of this place, this band, this corn dog. Amazing. 10/10 will go again.

We try to visit every year Hope, so we stop at this restaurant for the lunch, I prefer a good cup of soup to warm up, a good sandwich and water. But this year 2022 I asked for ????. We also visited the art cabin (I think is a nice Ukrainian lady theowner) that supports local artists and sales their art. Please stop and visit this small town, enjoy a meal and shop at thestore ????

Everything was fine until it wasn?t. It was a beautiful sunny night and me and my girlfriend decided to eat out on the deck. Shortly after we started eating our dinner a live band was playing music in the background at a near by stage. We both finishedour dinner and decided to get dessert. When I went inside to order dessert I was told If I was going to be on the deck I had tobuy a wristband because of the live music playing. I told them we were already seated and eating dinner before any music wasbeing played and that we just wanted dessert to eat and we?d be on our way. I took the dessert and went outside to the table andsat down. Shortly after someone who worked there came out and told us we had to either move inside (there was basically no roomit was packed and hot) or buy a wristband to be outside on the deck. I told them we had already been out on the deck eating andwas not told any of this when we first ordered our food and sat out there. They weren?t having any of it and said those are therules. Instead of letting us eat our dessert and then leave they basically kick us out of there and were very smug about thewhole situation. That?s absolutely no way to treat paying customers if you want there business in the future. Unfortunatelyafter this whole situation unfolded I will never go back and support Creekbend Cafe and urge others to please take your businesssomewhere else where you won?t be treated like dirt. Id expect something like this to happen in Anchorage but not small townHope, very disappointed with the outcome.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on two different occasions since we found no other places serving beer at noon. The food is decent—while it’s not outstanding, it’s certainly good. The outdoor seating area adds to the overall experience, and the service is quick. They also have some games and books available for entertainment, and there’s a changing table in the restroom. The beer selection is excellent!
