Bidra med feedbackThe experience was terrible. We waited for over an hour and some of our group had to leave without getting their food because they had to catch a ferry. We will not be returning again.
I revisited this restaurant recently and once again experienced very slow service. Just like my previous visit, they forgot items from my order. I ordered a large breakfast but received a small one instead. This cafe used to be well-managed, but it seems like that is no longer the case. The staff seemed uninterested and unbothered.
I rode the Red Squirrel Trail and stopped at this place for a double espresso, but was disappointed to find out they didn't have an espresso machine. I ended up ordering a cappuccino, which tasted like coffee flavoring or instant coffee. The milk frother didn't work properly and the milk was too hot with no texture. The food looked good, but it was clear that there was a disconnect between the kitchen and the customer service, which was reflected in other reviews as well. The place could benefit from some professional help to improve their operations and training, and it's a shame because the decor and location are great.
I’m sorry but how does it take over half an hour for a small portion of chips? plenty of FOH staff just standing around, even went up and asked how long they would be “with you in a minute” still didn’t arrive 15 minutes after that, so we just left. so bad. didn’t even bother with a refund as we knew there would be a fuss
We had a great meal at the cafe today. All very fresh, tasty and big portions. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a great lunch.
