Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is dog-friendly and offers delicious food, as well as a selection of guest ciders and Isle of Wight ales. The ambiance is welcoming with a garden at the back. The meals are reasonably priced and of good quality. The tagliatelle was rich and flavorful, while the sausage sandwich at lunchtime was excellent. The homemade pies were generously filled with beef, although the pastry was slightly overcooked. The fishcakes were decent but not particularly Thai in flavor. The chips were outstanding, and everything was freshly prepared. The beer and cider selection is limited to Razorback, Greene King IPA, and Inches cider. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, a charming place worth visiting.
I had a lovely evening at this restaurant. It has a traditional pub feel where you order at the bar and the friendly staff bring your food to your table. The atmosphere was pleasant and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The food was delicious.
We decided to try this pub based on recommendations from multiple people, and we were not disappointed. We ordered pizza and found the pub to be bustling with activity. The server was very friendly and helpful, and the food was served hot and in generous portions.
During our week-long vacation in St. Helens, we had heard great things about The Vine and decided to book a Sunday lunch there. I can honestly say that we had the best roast dinner ever. We ended up eating at this lovely pub three more times during our stay. Each meal was served hot and was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and we felt very welcomed. I cannot recommend The Vine enough. I wish it was closer to where we live. Thank you to everyone there.
We booked a Valentine's Day meal at The Vine Inn and it was a delicious experience. We enjoyed a special 5-course meal for two for £55. We started with a small soup, followed by starters of warm duck and orange salad for me (smoked and delicious) and crab bruschetta for my husband. For the main course, I had chorizo-stuffed chicken with roasted potatoes and red pesto sauce, while my husband enjoyed perfectly cooked sea bass. Dessert was a delightful chocolate caramel pot for me and homemade strawberry cheesecake for my husband. We were very impressed with the fantastic meal prepared by the chef. The service was also excellent and we had a lovely dining experience. We highly recommend The Vine Inn for a special occasion. Thank you for a memorable evening. - Pete and Jayne Hayward
