L&l Hawaiian Barbecue - Lahaina

I absolutely love the BBQ chicken from L&L. During our one week stay here in Maui, I’ve eaten the BBQ chicken three times for dinner. It makes me wish I had an L&L back home.

Good but there’s a workers kid about 10 years old who kept slamming doors around and messing around. Slapping his hands on the walls. It was over the top messing around.

In terms of price, it's good compared to nearby food trucks... I ordered a shrimp curry, chicken katsu combo, and a cheeseburger, and the chicken katsu was really delicious. It's a reasonably priced restaurant. They have a system where you can freely bring your own sauces, so I brought sriracha and chicken sauce... and ate it with other food items.

Had the “healthier” garlic shrimp plate 19$ for 6 small shrimp? Really? And most of the salad was cut out of the core of the lettuce which means it was unwashed. Then we also got the bbq chicken it was gamey and not fresh. Not to mention it was so oily that the salad it was sitting on was soaked. The little buzzer they gave us didn’t work we kept waiting and Everytime I went in to check I was told to wait for the buzzer to ring, turns out my order was just sitting on the counter.

Phone in order was totally wrong, was over charged and nobody speaks clearly. Terrible
