Silver Pond - Lauderdale Lakes

I dined with a group of friends at this restaurant. Half of us were pleased with our meals while the other half were not satisfied. I decided to try the Hong Kong duck but was disappointed to find it oily with mostly bones and skin. The others in our group who ordered seafood dishes raved about their meals, but the rest of us did not enjoy our food as much.

Great experience here! Service was attentive and our waitress was super nice. The food came out hot and quick. The prices were reasonable and the portions were large.

Great performance. family special is an excellent bargain!

Maybe I had the wrong one, but my eating was a bit cold and the service was something lacking glamour, I'm sorry to say. I had really high hopes for this place, but I was disappointed that I was very sad to say because it is very rare that I must.

Food was amazing, best Chinese we've had in Fl. My in-laws have a set thing they order so we went w it. Supreme soup was supreme. Beijing pork chops, yum. Salt n pepper shrimp, nummy. The clams in black bean sauce were good but a lot of work. Service was okay, a little indifferent. But overall really good. And the food? Again, best Chinese we've had in fl.
