Big L's Barbeque - Louisburg

This hearty sandwich is affectionately called the Spare Tire by the locals. I decided to give it a try based on the waiter’s recommendation, and I wasn't disappointed—it was fantastic! The monster size meter added a fun touch to the presentation as I dug into the sandwich. Overall, the restaurant has a welcoming family atmosphere and offers great prices. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys BBQ!

Everything was absolutely delicious! The burnt end sandwich, featuring their homemade BBQ sauce, was even better than what I’ve had at Jack Stack—it was one of the best burnt end sandwiches I've ever experienced! The meat was tender with a thick, flavorful smoke ring, and the BBQ sauce was sweet and tasty—definitely one of the best sauces I've ever tried. The pommes frites were also homemade and perfectly seasoned; they were fantastic! As for the smoked catfish, it was incredibly good! I had never tried smoked catfish before, but it was definitely worth it! The potato salad and coleslaw were perfectly seasoned and added to the wonderful meal. Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! I've saved this restaurant in my favorites, and if you're ever in the area, I highly recommend checking it out! Trust me, it’s worth experiencing the amazing flavors this restaurant has to offer!

It was delicious! I love that a BBQ restaurant offers pizza. The selection of toppings was pretty amazing! Staff is attentive but don't hover. Very kind as well. Definitely recommend over over!

I ate here a few weeks ago with a son. He had a bbq pizza and I had a BBQ plate. Oh, and I can't forget. We ordered a page of corn-nuggets! The maize nuggets are worth the journey themselves! The pizza was absolutely amazing. The Bbq sauce filled the pizza very well. In addition, the bbq sampler should die. 10 out of 10 will eat here.
