La Mesa Mexican - Louisburg

I just want to update that if anybody came I haven't heard a thing about it. They are still empty.

If I could go lower on the stars... I would. If you're in Louisburg, run the risk of a DUI and go to El Potro in Paola. The margaritas were atrocious, no taste of tequila and overwhelming taste of sweet and sour. Salsa is ass. Queso, however not terrible, is watery than the **** I took after eating here. Got tacos, suffered through the first two (which were cold) took a bite of the third and actually spit it out. It was that or swallow it and vomit. Oh, and it's dirtier than granny's **** and she's in diapers. The floor is so sticky you can hear the wait staff approaching from across the room. Slight hint of must in the air as well. As we were leaving, we took a peak at the bar. Half drank drinks all over it, empty beer bottles littered it, and many ingredients that I suspect should be cold were left out behind the bar. Considering calling the health department, DO NOT eat here.

Do not stop here! Please read!! The food is awful! Save yourself! The drinks all taste like sewer water lines, they need to be cleaned it was awful. The whole place was dirty and the food is nowhere close to authentic even for Tex-Mex food was awful and did not look like the photos or even close. Margarita was awful taste like dirty water. The restroom was absolutely disgusting. Bri was awesome service and did grest job despite how gross thie place was. On another note, seemed like everyone who worked here knew how unresponsive the owner was by telling us he never answers phone so why bother even coming here if the owner is never here.

Used to love this place, but now it appears to be permanently closed. Very sad.

We enjoy this restaurant and have a few good servers that are great, but did not appreciate them closing before the posted time on Father’s Day. No posts on FB saying they’d close early.
