Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Lubbock

I normally love visiting this place. Today not so much. I placed my order. I was given my smoothie it was dripping from the sides with mix and the girl would not clean it. She just handed it to me dripping from the sides. I had to find a napkin in my car to clean up the mess from the cup and now dripping on my work clothes . I cancelled the food order and they refused to reimburse me. Terrible service, terrible employees working today.

I doordash deliver The one at 19th and University was horrible...I drove across town to pick up an order that certainly should have been ready when I arrived...it was 2 grilled cheese...no big deal,still had to wait 10+ minutes for them and I had another pickup to go get... I saw what I thought was my order get brought out and wrapped...and it was my order but they decided I wasn't important enough to bring the customers at least semi warm food.I guess they wanted this and my 2nd order to both be cold. I was not impressed. They weren't busy they were just BS'ing in the back. Would not suggest this location. The 1 by 82nd is far more professional.

SO so slow. Which is shocking bc the inside isn't even open. It took over 10 mins for 2 smoothies. No food. The cars behind me probably thought I ordered one of everything. The gal who took my order was not friendly and not engaging AT ALL at the window (Wendaeza was her name). No hi...no thank you. Was handed my smoothie and BOTH cups had smoothie all over them. I had to ask for napkins and sat there and cleaned them off to make sure it didn't make a mess of my car. Just overall poor customer service experience. I'll stick with the other 2 in town next time.

Been to other tropical cafes in town and always been asked if I wanted to tip but at this location they automatically apply tip without asking. Asked the manager why there was a tip when I wasn 't asked and was told if you take too long to answer that the machine applies tip ???? these was the same person that ran my card at the drive thru window. Beware ask for a receipt

I got sick this time ordering my usual. I don't know if the food was mishandled or the ingredients were expired
