Sake Cafe - Lufkin

My friend, her father and I were here for dinner. We have edamame and a tuna appetizer that were both great! I have the 3 sushi roll dinner. It was a great price for lots of food and the ingredients are definitely fresh and delicious! For the first time in Lufkin this was a great place to start!!

Came in and requested sushi bar and was accommodated right away. Service was great and chefs at bar was very helpful. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. So to the food...I ordered the Tiger Roll first and it was very fresh tasting and I received it pretty quick when all is said... after that I asked the chef for his opinion on a tempura roll...I don't know the name of it but it was fantabulous, had fried shrimp, rice, and crab with some other stuff. I will be back and hope if you're passing through or live around the area that you too will stop by and try for yourself...

So yummy!! My favorite is the Rock N Roll. The rolls are massive, so not a first date kind of food but it is delicious!! My only complaint are their booths lol they are very annoying you can feel every movement of the person behind you. Other than that, I love it!!

Fantastic lunch here. Sashimi, Wakame, miso soup, bento box. For sushi, we gave the Tyler Roll a go, and it was fantastic. Tatum, our server, was super lovely and 100% on point in service.

Today I ordered 120$ worth of rolls and appetizers and let me tell you. This sushi is KILLER! I’m from the Bay Area California and we have a competitive sushi game in the bay. I have to say, hands down this is the top 2 sushi I’ve ever had. The rolls are full of flavor, the tempura is crispy with just the right amount of salt to set off the whole flavor. Their sauces are like none I’ve ever had, and complement the rolls to PERFECTION! When I go home to California I will miss this place SO MUCH. Thank you for having amazing food and such great service. When I visit again I will most certainly be back. 10/10 amazing food.
