Neither of us received the soup and salad that were supposed to accompany our meals, and when I tried to ask for them, the staff couldn't understand me. While the food was tasty, you'll definitely get better value for your money at Sushi Ai in Clayton.

The staff was friendly and the sushi was good. The only thing to note is that they automatically included a 20% gratuity on the bill and then asked for an additional tip. Just a heads up!

I called the restaurant, but the girl on the phone didn't speak English well and couldn't understand what I was saying—I only mentioned that I had two orders. Putting that aside, I went in to place my order. When my bill arrived, I noticed that a 20% tip had been added without my approval. She insisted that she didn't do it, but my card was charged $53, and she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. I won't be returning because they really need to sort this out.

My daughter and I love having lunch together here! You can't beat the lunch special and any roll you choose is delicious. The service is always great and fast.
