Bidra med feedbackOne of the gems you need to stop during your visit to Manitou! Their dark chocolates are deliciously rich and smooth! They also have a variety of infused honey they sell, I recommend their orange jasmine infused! We also enjoy their hot chocolate mix!
We were so happy to have found this place and actually went. My wife fell in love with the chocolates that can help with depression and anxiety. It's expensive, but it's worth it. Everything you need for your wellness is available.
A unique store filled with herbal remedies on one side and natural foods in another corner. I saw the sign apothecary outside and decided to wander in and take a look. The variety of, herbs, roots, and spices sold from a wall of jars by weight was amazing. Soaps, oils, pastes and many other items made from these ingredients filled the tables within the center of the store. If your in to natural remedies, therapy and or whole foods this is the place to go. I purchased a few items before leaving, one of which is shown in an attached photo. A ghost chili infused raw honey. The honey is only mildly spicy, the sweetness really knocks down the hotness of the ghost chili. I've eaten whole ghost chili's and I was a bit concerned at first. But this honey has excellent flavor, with just a small kick of spiciness. This stuff is great on toast and crackers. I would recommend checking this place out, It was a unique find, and while I'm not into herbal remedies, the Radiantly Raw side of the store which is an edibles store was filled with unique items.
This place sells truffles that are completely Paleo and vegan! It is nothing but cocoa, coconut oil and sweetened with honey. If there is a filling, it is likely fruit and/or nuts. And it comes for a price I think the truffles start at $2.75 and rise. But if you have six, that seventh is free. And now a Yelp check-in will be 10% off. We tried. Blueberry Lavender (probably my second favorite! Vanilla Cashew (not for me. The center was solid when I expected the cream that was described to me. Elvis Style Cup with almond butter bananas (my third favorite! This butter was creamy and perfectly balanced my soft sweet from the banana! No moo cheese cake (made from cashews. That was absolutely my favorite!! Mylky Mint (i.e. my husband, the mint fan was like this. For me it tasted like a strong toothpaste. My only complaint in this place was the girl there. I could say she had her memory of five paragraphs that she just had to get out. Honestly, I was excited and interested in everything she said. And if I'm excited, I'll interrupt. Well, she was really not cool with it and made it too obvious. Tip if you have a customer who is excited and totally buy what you sell, don't leave a small thing as they interrupt from excitement bumps you out and be rude to them.
Eat raw chocolate for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Was able to taste some of the chocolates and everyone was smooth. I enjoyed tasting a piece of white chocolate lavender, which was very refreshing and light, I enjoyed it especially, as I am usually not a white chocolate fan. Also had really good service from Meghan? . She was about the chocolates, friendly and gave great recommendations. The chocolates are somewhat expensive, but this is to be expected when using natural ingredients.
