Kirchsteiger Alp - MERANO

Tourist trap. Awful food. Knudel trio drawning in butter. Salad drawning in vinegar. Apfelstrudel we left untouched. We took one bite of the knoedel and left the remainder untouched. Paid and go. Spare yourself time, money and disappointment unless you don’t mind to eat poor quality.

Husband and I stayed a night here while walking some of the E5 route. We really enjoyed our stay- our room was comfortable with a good bathroom and a nice balcony overlooking the mountains. It was all very clean and the hotel/restaurant is very well looked after. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We had a very nice evening meal and breakfast too. Definitely recommended.

Very nice reception. the service was also competent and friendly and the whole team is well organized! our food, we had brain maccheroni and wildspinatstrudel from the tagmap was really delicious!
