The appetizers are different each time I came I think, which is so great! Especially the fish cake and kimchi. The no.8 rice cake rib soup is the best that I like. The soup is tasty and beef rib is soft but also chewy. Love the clear noodles inside too. Recently tried their sweet rib stew, which is good too. Good for lunch with co-workers and dinner with families. If go for lunch, make sure to arrive early because this place is quite popular.

Happy that we’re starting to pick up on specialty Korean restaurants. Parking is insane in this plaza, so make sure to keep that in mind when factoring time. And the line is long. But thankfully the service is extremely fast here and they’re quick to bring you your food. Galbitang was great with decent portions, didn’t even need to add more salt!

Service : the staff here are really nice. They all speak fluent Korean and English so I didn't have any trouble ordering at all. They are also pretty knowledgeable on recommendations. We basically got what they recommended on the soup and it was amazing. Food : the beef pot is the signature dish for these places. It's really good and has potatoes, and rice cake along with really tender beef. We had the beef shoulder point soup and it was really good too! I would also recommend the beef ribs soup. For four people, the beef pot and one order of soup was pretty much enough for us with all the free side dishes! Wait times: it can get long especially on the weekends.

Authentic galbi tang (beef short rib soup). I uploaded two photos, one before eating and one after finishing it. It's so yummy that I don't want to leave any soup. Some tips: their galbi tang is only $13 for the first month; it opens at 11 am and you will have to wait after 11:30 am even on weekdays.

I've read all the reviews, and I believe the negative comments completely miss the mark about this place. Having traveled to Korea and experienced various soups and cuisines in Seoul, I feel I have a solid perspective. As a personal chef for a Korean family, I have brought back numerous recipes and flavors that are iconic to Korean cuisine. I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it turned out to be a fantastic discovery. From the side dishes to the main course, everything was spot on. There are those who truly understand Korean food and those who only think they do. This restaurant is as authentic and flavorful as any you'd find in Korea.
