Akira Ii Japanese - MOORESTOWN

The storefront had a closed appearance at first glance! Parking is available on the main road, with meters charging 25 cents for 15 minutes. The food was delicious and packed with flavor. We ordered the Shrimp Tempura Bento Box and the Scallop Habashi Lunch, which came with roasted rice.

I had an outstanding dining experience at this restaurant! The food was incredible, and the service was even better. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and the service was quick. The restaurant itself was clean and the decor was appealing. This has become our new favorite spot for sushi and hibachi!

My wife and I regularly dine at Akira for lunch, and each time, the experience is outstanding. The food is incredibly fresh and expertly prepared, featuring generous portions of sushi and sashimi, along with exceptionally friendly and quick service. The dining area also boasts a lovely koi pond, and the seating is comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever. If you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend making the trip. Just a heads-up—try not to all arrive at noon, as I appreciate being able to get a table quickly.

Compare this with Akira in Voorhees. The sushi pizza was better than that. The Sushi Pizza crust (Scallion Pizza) was a little soft/soggy and not crispy like the one in Voorhees. That really does everything. The 3 reels for $15 is much for lunch, would definitely come back as it is closer than the other location.

Update 09/07/2021: Tonight my family came for a hibachi dinner. The cooking style was quite entertaining. Meat, seafood, vegetables, rice and Lo Mien came out just right and delicious! If you haven’t tried hibachi, come to Akira to find out. You and your kids will all enjoy it as we and other customers with little kids did tonight. You can also check out some of the videos and pictures I took in the restaurant. 06/08/2021: After volunteering at high school, I stopped by here to order some Japanese-style lunch for my daughter. When I stepped into the restaurant, I loved the tranquil atmosphere and settings. There are outdoor seatings on the sidewalk of Main Street. They also serve hibachi at the rear section. Parking is convenient with metered parking on Main Street and free parking at the rear parking lot. Food came out very good. My daughter loved the California Rolls and Nabe Yaki Udon. I enjoyed the rolls and Pepper Tuna as well as the udon. Will bring my family to try the hibachi some time soon.
