Bidra med feedbackThe food and beer was either really good or subpar at best. Staff was real friendly. Not my first choice but would come back every once in awhile for a change.
Well... Persons with disabilities beware. Conny Creek Brewing is clueless about ADA compliance. I was asked to go outside with my service dog. I was told they do not allow dogs in the brewery, even after I told them she was a service dog and showed them my card. I warned them that they were in violation of the ADA by asking me and my service dog to go outside. After we went outside, and I showed my dog's card, I did get an apology. We stayed outside, finished our drinks and left. We did not feel welcomed after that.Owners and staff need to learn about ADA compliance and service dogs.
Ownership truly matters, and we appreciate the humility and sincerity of the owners at Conny Creek. We feel great spending our money here, knowing it supports good people who genuinely care about their customers. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and the prices are more than fair. Most importantly, the food is exceptional. It’s a delightful mix between a backyard picnic and the simple, comforting flavors of your mom or grandmother's home cooking. Each dish is delicious. While we enjoy the beer, we believe there is significant room for improvement. We would love to see more innovative styles that steer clear of gimmicks. For instance, a rich Russian imperial stout without coffee and lactose would be fantastic. Regarding IPAs, we think the focus should be on creating something rich and flavorful, rather than relying on fruits or unusual additives. We've tasted stouts and IPAs at other places that hit the mark, but we prefer Conny Creek (the establishment, not the beer) and want them to raise the bar. Think benchmark brews like Pliny the Elder, Heady Topper, Old Rasputin, or Bell’s Expedition. Allusion and The Brick House offer stouts and IPAs that elevate the experience. One major critique is the restaurant’s focus on local ingredients. While we commend the effort to source locally, customers want the best-tasting beer possible. They care more about flavor than the origin of the ingredients. (Hint: There’s a reason the best wines come from Napa Valley, and the finest olive oil hails from the Mediterranean, not Kittanning). In summary, we love Conny Creek and believe it’s on the verge of greatness. With just a few minor adjustments to the beer selection, it could be one of the best, if not the best, places to visit in the area.
The restaurant was extremely crowded during our visit, with no seats available. We couldn’t make it to the bar to sample or order anything. As a result, we ended up getting a six-pack to go, which turned out to be quite good.
Miranda and other bar staff were fast. Place feels bigger than it is with comfortable long 6 person tables! Try the Tw-elf 25! Their pizzas are the ABSOLUTE BEST at any brewery I’ve eaten at. Got two. Mmmmmmmm
