Bidra med feedbackBeautiful pizza and very friendly staff. the garlic pizza was great and the marge was perfect with added speck on the top. the prices were really good for the quality they get. I'll say I'm glad I ordered earlier because the waiting period can be about an hour. but it is worth it! will go back.
I did encounter a long wait time when I called to place a takeout order—about 1.5 hours—which is likely due to their popularity. Despite the wait, these pizzas are definitely worth it. Just be sure to order early to account for the waiting time!
We had the best pizza experience imaginable! Though we aren't from Newcastle, we were excited to explore their extensive selection of vegan pizzas. Each one, from the classics to the more gourmet options, was outstanding. The sourdough crust was freshly made, topped with high-quality ingredients. We ordered five different pizzas, each with its own unique flavor profile. We will definitely return every time we’re in Newcastle. P.S. Out of the five we tried, I highly recommend the mushroom vegan pizza with truffle oil—it's simply divine!
This is the best pizza I've ever had, not just in Newcastle but also in Sydney and Italy! I've been trying to think of a better pizza, and I just can't. We tried the chorizo and honey, which was perfectly balanced—spicy, salty, and sweet—as well as the four cheese pizza. Both were incredible! Normally, I leave the crust on a pizza untouched because I don't want to fill up on bland dough, but Masa Madre's crust has a delicious, unique sourdough flavor and a satisfying chewy texture. These young chefs truly understand flavor and dough. I rarely write reviews on Facebook, but after last night’s experience, I felt compelled to share. Yum, yum, yum!
