Subway Station - Newport News

Seriously! Very disappointing I stopped going here for a reason and the only reason why I came today was because a co worker was paying. Yet once again took me a whole hour to get a dang sub. That is mediocre at its finest. I don?t know it is more disturbing the hour long wait! Or the fact that I watched one employee make sandwiches while the other ones not helping out. Really poorly ran staff. Get better do better!

I never recommend this but I found myself craving a Subway Express and my GPS was saying I would arrive at close. I was that guy opening the door and lo and behold the owner was there and had my sandwich made with no trouble. The place is an institution, the sandwiches are delicious, and everyone is exceptionally friendly. I hope this place lasts forever.

I simply love this local alternative to sub sandwiches. It maintains a timeless feel inside and I love that it shouts out CNU athletics. I have been visiting for almost 20 years and I always look forward to a conductor sub with their special sauce.

I 've been eating here since I was a kid. It 's a great local joint with a solid sub. Get it toasted and the bread will be wonderfully crispy. The secret sauce is pretty good. Sadly, this one doesn 't serve fries like the other location does. I think the only negative thing would be that the ridiculous meat option doesn 't seem so ridiculous anymore when compared to places like Firehouse.

We are lucky to have this place. The sandwiches are delicious every time, and I've never met anyone who didn't love the secret sauce. The interior is super classic, feels like walking through a time machine. I won't bother getting a sub anywhere else in town as long as Subway Station still stands.
