The Rice and Peas, BBQ chicken, coleslaw, and plantains were absolutely fantastic! Plus, the Pineapple Lemonade was delicious. Highly recommend!
The restaurant offers a special that includes a mini chicken dish, along with delicious plantains and rice and peas, with only about four different options to choose from. All of this costs just $5.99 before tax, making it a fantastic deal for soul food. Keep in mind that there’s no drive-thru, but it’s located in a shopping center where there's ample parking available both in the front and back. I highly recommend this place—10/10! It's a perfect dining spot for a date, all for under $20.
I read the reviews and decided I need to go for myself. I'm glad I didn't believe those reviews. The Curry Goat is so good. I got the Large. It's more than enough for two people. The service was great too.
Their food taste soon much better then their location on commercial and university. The staff at Kimberly Datch Pot are nice polite, joke with their customers and want to be there. The staff at commercial act as if they should not be there. Go to Dutch Pot at Kimberly food taste so much better.... but be mind full there will be a line no drive through.
