Bidra med feedbackPeople are friendly and accommodating Smoked 1/4 chicken (white) was perfectly smoked. Tender's done. Very delicious! But the proportion was much smaller than I expected. Your Spicy BBQ sauce is one of my favorites. Actually, I would buy it in the store if it were sold in bottles. Wouldn't change the sauce. Cole Slav was also very tasty, Mayo type that is my favorite style. Portion was right. Brunswick stew was a good part, and tasted good. Much meat. Only the problem was, it was cold. I mean cold refrigerator. I couldn't eat it, but I didn't feel like complaining. A beautiful day and friendly smile people.... I like to go here from time to time. I suspect that the small proportion of chickens is a result of inflation with which we are all finished. The price reflected the higher cost of the business, and the small part of the chicken also reflected inflation. Think they should choose one or the other. The restaurant is very clean, including the outdoor terrace. Note: Your BBQ Pork Sandwiches are excellent. Very recommended.
Visit this restaurant on Monday afternoon.... I'll say that maybe that was the problem. It was after 4:00 and everything wasn't on temperature for me. I have a rib (4 bones) with Mac and cheese and Brunswick stew and a pulled pork sandwich with the sweet BBQ sauce. The ribs were just from the grill... I mean, they took it from the grill. The Mac and the cheese were on a hot table behind the counter and the person who attached my plate pushed them into the individual serving pot. The plate came with 2 sides, 2 slices of white bread and pimples, which were finally sweet? and not dill. The pulled pork sandwich was a standard sandwich on a bungalow. Ok the ribs were hard and dry and had no wort, the Mac and cheese was cold and did not taste like any Mac and cheese I've ever eaten, and do not touch a compliment. The white bread on the plate looked like pieces that were close to the ends, so they were a little hard. The pulled pork nas decent it was nicely spiced, but was not dressed with some more sweet pickles.. I didn't like the Bbq sauce. I tried the sweet way it was thin for my taste. They had sweet, hot, Al white and vinegar. You also had a good selection of drinks and tea available self-service and everything you can drink while you eat. In the dining room was spacious and they had an outdoor terrace that was cute and covered. I didn't get a picture of it. There was a good parking lot. I didn't see any bathrooms, but I'm sure they were there.
On the way from ATL to Montgomery AL we have hunger and decided to find a place to take some lunch near the highway and OMG we have soooo luck? this place is delicious.
This is the real deal. Love the slow cooked bbq pork and delicious sides. I like sitting outside to eat however there is seating inside. I had the bbq beans and banana pudding for my sides, both were very good.
Stopped by today at about 1pm and they were out of everything except the pulled pork and a few ribs... So I had the pulled pork lunch special with a sandwich, drink and chips and a pulled pork baked potato. The pork sandwich was solid. I'd say even good. I just wish it had more seasoning. The sauce (sweet) and the pickles (I'm not even a pickle person) made the sandwich. The potato was just ok I asked for everything but it was a little anemic. I'm sure it would have been better with the brisket. I love that charred smoky flavor. The sweet tea was also pretty good but I prefer to taste the actual tea leaves in my sweet teas. But this wasn't it. The banana pudding was also good. Pudding has a creamy texture, bananas were perfect. Not too mushy. Nice and sweet but no cookie wafers which I missed. Overall experience was solid. Hit the spot. Filled us up but not too much. Would come back if in the area.
