Brisket sandwich is the best around. Seafood gumbo is best outside of Louisiana. It is our anniversary and the server brought us out a ramekin of their famous bread pudding with caramel sauce that was to die for. Happy to have spent our anniversary here in Opelika at Zazu! We had a spectacular dinner here. The mahi was absolutely wonderful. My husband had a burger and loved it. Service is great. The historic building adds so much charm. Can’t go wrong! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Host was very rude to walk up customers. Less than half tables with customers and we were told there was a 1.5 hour wait. If you want locals to eat here get your nose out of the clouds and serve them! Vegetarian options: Only one salad on menu. Get with the program! Won’t come back ever!
