Pupuseria La Familiar

My first experience with Papuse's, and I'm glad I stopped and checked them out. The place seems to sell mainly to people living south of the US. So communication was a little difficult. They offer over a dozen different Papusa's many with names and ingredients I found difficult to understand. I started with the bean cheese and was hooked. The order took twenty minutes to prepare, so have patients or order onine. I have been back and will continue coming.

Don't get the yuca con chicharon it's not a well prepared plate at this location!. Not yuca with chicharon! The dish is super poorly made, it doesn't have chicharon and the cassava is very dry.

Ordered online and they didn't have the Chile relleno so they called me and I requested something they don't have on menu and they still made it. When I went in to pickup my food they were a Lil busy so they gave me chips, salsa and beans on the house while I waited.. Beans are

I took my family this past week to eat some pupusas and I can easily say that they were delicious. The service that the managers provided to us was warmly welcoming. Best pupusas (and salsa) I've had in Sacramento! Great service, relaxed ambiance, wide selection of items on the menu, and speedy delivery of food. What more can you ask for? It's worth the drive down Florin Rd. I highly recommend!
