Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine University Dr

I love Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine. I have visited several of their locations and since the one on University Dr in Pembroke Pines is near to my office, I often order lunch from there. The online ordering process is easy; the lunch specials are great, and myfood is always ready for pickup on time. My only issue is that once in a while the food is not as well seasoned as others; maybeit's a matter of kitchen personnel not being properly trained? Today I ordered one of the lunch specials and the chicken tastedlike it had nothing but pepper. No salt, no adobo, no citrus marinade flavor.. just black pepper. I still ate it, but I wascertainly disappointed. I wish there wasn't such a lack of consistency from the kitchen. I will probably stay away from thatdish since that's not the first time it's happened. I'll try another special next time.

Though there's no shortage of Cuban food around town, this family owned business has steadily grown and is one of the best. I believe this may be the original location but there are now at least 8 or 9 around town and all we have visited are good! Theservice is always friendly and efficient with more than ample servings. You won't walk away hungry!

Food is delicious and staff is very friendly and courteous. Wonderful family restaurant.

Haven’t been here in a few years, my husband said there grilled fish was good so we ordered and picked up. My shredded chicken was so dry it was uneatable. Rice beans okey. My husbands fish was good but don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

The black beans were watery and lacked flavor. The chicken milanese was smaller than usual and had very little cheese on top. Given the price we paid, we expected it to be better.
