Universal Pizza - Penn Hills

Charming little shop that I will definitely visit again. The staff were friendly, and the pizza was delicious.

I decided to give this restaurant another chance after a previous disappointing experience, and I can genuinely say I'm so happy I did! The food was delivered quickly, and the delivery driver was very courteous. Moreover, the pizza was among the best I've ever had, if not the absolute best! I can't wait to explore more of their menu items.

The other reviews are absolutely right. The gluten-free pizza we had was by far the best we've ever tasted! If you're looking for gluten-free options but have given up on pizza because most gluten-free crusts end up being grainy and hardly resemble dough, you need to head to Universal! Their gluten-free crust tastes and feels just like a well-made regular crust—light, bubbly, and incredibly delicious! The atmosphere is wonderful as well; it's a charming family-owned restaurant with friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and get a pizza. You won't regret it!

Amazing! Amazing! My husband has celiac and has been craving a yummy GF pizza for YEARS. This place knocked it out of the park. Calzone same! Stromboli same! Wedgie same! If you are GF you gotta put their number on speed dial. No joke! Owner is incredibly sweet and always asks if last order got anyone sick. Don’t know how they do it they are simply incredible.

Love universal pizza, their pizza and hoagie are delicious! And prices are excellent which is an added bonus.
