Caribbean Sizzle - Peterborough

I'm just back. Wow! A true taste of the island. I had the goatery and my partner had Ruck Chicken, both were great as rice and beans. We chose the hardened cabbage option and were more than pleasantly surprised. The staff is great and the owner is rightly proud of their place and food. If you are looking for something else, do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

This is an amazing place to eat some real Jamaican food. The jerk chicken meal cannot be beat in Ontario. Thanks for the amazing service.

Down here for work from toronto and man this was the classiest island food joint I been to. I'm more used to grabbing my chicken curry roti from a hole in the wall, but the three employees working (black lady, and the two white women) were so inviting and patient at this well run joint. Food was excellent, only thing was had to grab the hot sauce because I like my food very spicy, but that's a personal preference. Very clean and accommodating restaurant, would come back with my buddies I work with that come down here with me! All the best for the future, keep it up.

Loved the food, atmosphere, staff, cleanliness of this place. The cook and waitress were warm and inviting. Priced competitively with a great representation of Jamaican food here. Great location right on George Street in the heart of downtown with an open concept front, you feel like you are eating on the streets and seeing all the action go by. Food was tasty and large portions. Definitely recommend as a must do if you love Caribbean food.
