Bidra med feedbackThe employees at this Pizza Pizza location are always understanding with customers, and the pizza is consistently cooked to perfection.
The only thing I can say that's good about Pizza Pizza is that it's cheap. And they have a pretty good sound system in the George Street Location (even if hip-hop music isn't really my thing). They had a full size Chicken Bruschetta pizza in their 'slices' section so we ordered it. Only $7.90.....seemed like a great deal. Until we tasted it. The dominating flavour is salt. Cheese tasted old. Whole wheat crust is a nice idea, but it wasn't very crisp. Just edible.....not much else.
Lunch and needed some Za so I headed to the local pizza pizza. Fast service and your standard Hawaiian slice with garlic dipping sauce. ..they seem to have added a lot to the menu since last time (chicken sliders, etc). Place was clean. Free WiFi perfect for getting a little Facebook time in before heading back to the grind!
I'm actually here referring to the Pizza Pizza on Chemong....but I can't find it on Trip Advisor, and I suspect that all Pizza Pizza outlets are about the same anyway. Are they? Anyway......I've gone there twice now for a pizza slice. The first time I tried the barbeque chicken.....which was processed chicken with a slab of blackish barbeque sauce and maybe a vegetable or two. Cheese? What's that? The next time I played it 'safe' with a Hawaiian. Nice they have bacon on it. But the cheese......what is it anyway? It's horrible.....that almost 'card-board' texture on the roof of your mouth and otherwise tasteless. Nope. I'm through! No more late night snacks at Pizza Pizza. But I admit it's cheap......Only 4.42 for a very large slice (equivalent to two small slices).
When it comes to super franchises, this restaurant is dependable and sufficient, though it may be lacking in excitement. It is ideal for accommodating large groups and is not as pricey or greasy as some other well-known chains.
