Brauhaus Schmitz - Philadelphia

Wide selection of authentic German beers and some of the best German food I've had in a long time. A great choice if you're hungry and maybe a little worn out on IPA heavy selections. Parking: Parking ain't great (authentic Philly experience) Uber pickup was super fast though. Kid friendliness: It's a beerhall.

The schnitzel is out of this world!!! So is the German Beer selection! Favorite restaurant in philly!

We were scrambling to find a place to watch the Philadelphia Union game and found this place on the Union website. It was just what we were hoping for.

Very good beer selection, delicious food, very friendly service and very cozy! We always feel welcome and have a great time at Brauhaus Schmitz. Unfortunately it's too far away from us, but when we're in Philadelphia, it's a little piece of home away from home!!!!
