Golden Krust Caribbean - Plantation

I took my daughter to this restaurant to order a beef dish, but what we received wasn't fresh. She returned it in hopes of getting a fresher one, but unfortunately, that one didn't meet our expectations either. In the end, I asked for a refund, but the customer service was lacking. I don't have time to debate over my money. We won’t be coming back here again. This review is specifically about the location at Pineland and Sunrise.

However, my biggest issue was with the packaging. The curry spilled immediately upon contact, and it's clear that restaurants need to use more robust packaging for takeout. Curry dripped onto our clothes and shoes, even before we left the restaurant. I had already requested additional paper and a box for the food, but that did not help, and the poor packing led to irreparable damage. I won't be returning to this restaurant. If you do order from here, be sure to check that the packaging is suitable. If you aren't satisfied with what you see at pickup, don't leave with the order until everything is right.

Two weeks ago, I visited the restaurant on a weekend around noon when it was quite busy. Naturally, I expected the patties to be fresh, but I was disappointed. The meat was dry and tough, the cheese was also dry, and the crust was old. I ordered three beef patties and a fry, and I felt like it was a waste of money. Now, I’m heading to Charlie’s. Their pastries are always hot and fresh, and while it's a bit of a drive, I definitely recommend it. Please don't serve old patties from the previous day—just throw them away where they belong!

I have always enjoyed the food here but today OMG the food was Disgusting!! The Fried Chicken taste as if it was made 3 days ago, raw inside. The oxtail gravy on the dead flat tasting rice was horrible. I always brag on this location been going for years and Have Never Ever had a bad experience; Today I had to throw away the food, had I sat and ate like my mind told me to do I would have given it back to them. GOLDEN KRUST PLANTATION YOU FAILED MISERABLY TODAY YOU GET AN F-!! I'm so DISAPPOINTED!!

February 5th, 2022. I just ordered 2 curry chicken lunch dinners but they ran out of vegetables. I was only able to get Xtra rice, no exceptions. I didn 't like that but accepted it. I would 've preferred Xtra plantains or an extra piece of chicken????. Anyhow, I get home to eat and discover that the rice is not fully cooked. I was very dissatisfied with all that extra rice I got. It was too hard I couldn 't go finish eating??. I wanted to call the restaurant, but what good would that have done. Customer satisfaction is the key. Work on that! I want to also point out how unfriendly the server 's appear. It 's like everybody got a chip on their shoulders or don 't like their job...perhaps hire some smily and friendly faces saying upon entering welcome to Golden Krust upon exiting thank you for coming, enjoy . Supervisors, please check the undercooked and overcooked rice before sending it out for customers to eat. With that being said...the food is good and I will be back!
