Bidra med feedbackI saw that they close at 9 p.m. on a Wednesday night, so I arrived at 8:50, and the open sign was lit up. However, when I walked in, the girl at the register was completely rude and informed me that they were closed, which was clearly not the case. If they intend to close at 8:50 or 8:30 instead, they should update their hours accordingly. I found this behavior very unprofessional, especially in this area of the plantation. I'm genuinely disappointed and expected better from their reopening. Honestly, it might be better if they just stayed closed.
I also tried the Island Green Detox smoothie with added energy boost, along with a choice of fruits or chips. I opted for the chips, and they were fantastic! I'm really pleased with my visit; the customer service was excellent, and the food and smoothies were top-notch. I definitely plan to return. I even downloaded their app because I'm so happy with my choice. I'm very satisfied and might come back every week!
My recommendation is to be mindful of peak hours; I arrived at 12:30 and could see they were struggling to keep up. Taking a moment to greet and acknowledge waiting customers can make a huge difference. It's all about making customers feel seen and welcomed. While I understand it’s just a smoothie shop, as someone who runs a business myself, I believe improving customer service goes a long way in shining brighter than the competition.
One star is because at least the employees were polite today. A few months ago, I put an order for a Mocha madness through the app to pick up in 30 minutes because that's how long it took to go to the store (long history). When I arrived, I was informed that they were from coffee and that if I wanted a refund, I would have to call the 800 number and deal with the app people. Who has time for this? They made me another smoothie, a smoothie I didn't like. This morning after an early morning visit to the local grocery store that brings me to this area, my husband and I decided to stop for a mocha madness, the only smoothie we like from there. The two girls who work did not know how to rang the great order of the people before us and told them that next time they had to place catering orders in advance. Customers responded to the fact that they were in town for the weekend with a sports team and only got smoothes for some of the team members this morning. The couple was nice enough to let my husband and I order first. We ordered and paid and then it was said that they were from regular coffee and had only decaf. From coffee at 9 a.m. on Saturday?! Her coffee is also a powder that she could get from a walk over the parking lot to Publix. We asked for a refund and said they did not know how to issue a refund and that the manager would have to do it. The manager wasn't there, of course. In my two experiences with this location, the manager seems to have a problem with which the employees of camps and training are kept. If a coffeeshake is one of the smoothies on your menu, you should not run out of coffee so often. It should always be someone in the store who knows how to spend a refund. You take my money twice, can't fulfill my order and keep my money hostage?! It should always be a person in the store who knows how to properly classify orders. It is unbelievable that instead of entering 4 of a type, when smoothie, they must add one at a time. Strange. We won't be back to this place.
I love this place and I'm a sucker for their Avocolada smoothie. Good service, fresh food and clean establishment
