Bosphorus Cafe - Ridgewood

This restaurant is exceptional! We are foodies and it was hands down, one of the best meals we have experienced as well as extraordinary customer service. We had the Tabla to start with delicious meats and cheeses. My husband had the roasted vegetable soup for his main dish which was exquisite. I ordered the Loupe de Mer with mushroom truffle risotto. With all the fish I have eaten, this was truly memorable. Perfectly prepared, perfectly proportioned and left me feeling as though I had stumbled upon some wonderful secret place that serves food unlike any other restaurant in the region! Kudos as well to the waitstaff. Our waitress was fantastic, a delight! We highly recommend this unassuming restaurant located across from the train tracks. Just make sure you bring a wine worthy of the meal!

This has been my family's favorite restaurant since they first opened! The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious! We always get a tapas assortment... I only had one meal, the lamb chops that were amazing! But we just love to get a little bit of everything! Just love this place!

The food was really good, our server does not apologize to the name) young woman with blond hair, she was very nice and attentive. They let your own wine bring. And served it very nice.

My wife and I have been in this restaurant for years. The food is fantastically prepared and the ingredients are excellent. We know that because my wife worked in the restaurant, and about her long career as a server, this is one of two restaurants where she swears of quality. Get the grilled octopus.

The food here is fantastic! We're on a mission to discover even better places in Ridgewood, but this one really stands out. Our favorite spot is the round table in the new section, perfect for four people. Be sure to order the fish—it's amazing! The garlic shrimp is also excellent. The service is top-notch! The only downside is that it can be difficult to access on weekends, and I always forget to make reservations. The owner is very involved, and the decor features beautiful colors, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We absolutely love it!
