El Maguey Mexican Restaurant

I was just here and the food was better than the first time I was here. The waiter that we had really worked hard to walk the room to the different tables and make sure everyone got what they needed. We had a few mistakes at our table, but our waiter fixed them fast and he apologized every time. None of us was crazy even though we saw how hard he worked and it is completely understandable with how short employees everyone is.

The staff was friendly. The food was good. Chips and salsa were served immediately. The service was a little slow for the place that was not busy at all.

Had the Taco salad. Crisp Shell with beef, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream and sauce. Margaritas of all tastes are fantastic. I like to sit in their stands. Cosy for date night or privacy to laugh with your female friends.

I have eaten here at least once a week and never had a bad experience until today. I placed an order for pickup, upon arrival I was greeted by one of the male waiters who asked for the name on my order. I gave him my name, he looked at an order that sits behind him (my order) and said I'm going after your order. 10 minutes past I wait on the counter without update. When I turned around the same waiter who allegedly checked my order, was in the corner to talk to another worker. Finally, a nice woman who works there goes up and asks me what the name is on my command, and gives me the food that is now sitting on the shelf for God, know how long. She was very apologetic and nice about everything. But it was only worse when I came home and tried to eat the rice dishes we had ordered (4). The rice is spoiled to the point where I gag. The food was so bad that we had to torture the whole order. That's $60 worth of food in the garbage. MY DOG REFUSE to EAT IT... And he does everything!

Eight ex co-workers got together for dinner and everything was great. The service and food was great. They did not rush us at all. We enjoyed our time together there.
