Cousteau's Waffle and Milkshake Bar

Saturday, 13 august 2022 at 16:00 uhrbond company stooge crème brûlée waffel with strawberry and cream.$7.95I have tasted crème brûlée in paris, frankly; and I have used a martha stewart recipe to make it. with those as my culinary standards of excellent, I would give this delicate as very good: 4 out of 5. for me there was no pronounced vanilla taste. it did not have the deep of the taste I expected for a $7.95 dessert. I hate the name, bond company stooge for me it is not a flattering name for something refined and beautiful. While I would not give this dessert a hard fit, I don't see desperate demand for it. for me prevented the beautiful presentation that it simply drops too well: 3 out of 5.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmilkshakes were amazing! great service and very clean. I love the ambiente.

Looks better than they tasted. extremely dense. we couldn't stop them despite starving. these do not taste much like real Belgian waffles from Belgium or even nyc. the shakes are incredibly overpriced.

Delicious! a sweet tasty bite everyone deserves. tasty fresh waffles with delicious toppings. not just for breakfast!

I come in often to get milkshakes with my daughter who is 13. We came in today and there was no one in view. Young Kitchen guy appears, doesn't acknowledge us. A minute or so later a young gal appears from somewhere and casually says “what can I get you”… like I’m interrupting her scrolling time in the back or something. My daughter orders her fav, simple vanilla with Nutella. She’s been ordering it for years. Besides the point- we are at a milkshake shop where milkshakes and waffles pay for the staff. The girl walks to the back and there is a open kitchen window we can both see the employees through, the gal proceeds to say the order and the young male with a sigh of laziness says “boring” and they both laugh. Over all it’s not a big deal to an adult, which I run multiple businesses and have also worked every restaurant position front and back of house for 15 years+ as well as owned my own establishment….. but to my daughter it was a big deal and made her feel bad… really bad to where she wasn’t even comfortable to wait inside with me for the milkshake. 10/10 milkshakes But the staff??? You guys missed the bar today… If you don’t want to be there… go find another job. There are plenty of opportunities for the thrill your looking for. But when you work at a milkshake establishment, your job is to make whatever milkshake is ordered and paid for, boring or not….keep the crappy attitude and mumbles of disdain to yourself.
