Harvest Reel At Embassy Suites Resort St Augustine Beach

This restaurant is situated in The Embassy Suites Hotel and Resort, St. Augustine Beach, FL. The food was incredible; it was one of the best steaks (a 1-pound steak) I’ve ever had! The service was outstanding! I will definitely be returning!

I wouldn't recommend this place. The food is overpriced, even for beach standards. The chefs are not careful about cleanliness; they don't change their gloves after touching their faces. Additionally, the managers were seen eating fries with their bare hands, which is quite unappetizing for a restaurant.

The breakfast was outstanding, featuring made-to-order eggs cooked to perfection (you could choose omelets or any style you preferred), along with sausage and bacon, all complimentary.

Fearable experience just try to make reservations! An hour and no reservations. There is only one number to reach Harvest and Reel, which is through the hotel with NO options for restaurant. Was not able to make reservations for 12 with open table, must call but no one answered the phone in the restaurant, the reception tried to connect me but failed. Was not even able to talk to someone through the 800#. Fearable that I am not able to speak to a person. I ate here and thought I'd spend my birthday here. Really? Never again. I used to be in customer service, I'm not entitled to just need the naked minimums!

I think our expectations were too high on this place. We found the ambience like the breakfast restaurant at a Holiday inn hotel. The Prosecco was flat, the brussel sprouts were floury, the rest was about mediocre. Very disappointing considering my wife and had 1 salad, 1 appetizer, 1 entree and 2 drinks (basically shared a meal) for $130. Wont return.
