C.j. Mugg's Grill - Saint Louis

My wife and I were there for the Old Webster Jazz and Blues Festival. We went to this facility and had drinks. The staff was nice and friendly. The martinis and mojitos we are great, good beer selection, seafood Gumbo excellent, chicken panini was bland.

A great place to meet friends/family. It was quiet with a couple TV's in the bar to watch the game. Good food, burger was great. Dressings all homemade. No place for kids due to a little pricey, but worth the money.

The drinks were really good. I got the dark and stormy and liked it. The food wasn't good. We had a muffaletta that was slightly burned and pretty black l bland. We also had the tutto mare and it wasn't very flavorful either. The only good thing about the food was the portion size. But that doesn't matter if the food isn't good. I might give it one more chance but it really wasn't a good first impression.

Absolutely Love it! The servers are prompt! The restaurant setting is hardwood antiques but still gives a classic atmosphere. It's a mixed age crowd of mid aged, family, and seniors. I had the shrimp and grits. It was delicious! I could taste every flavor and I did not have to add seasonings. The rolls are served with cajun butter and were delicious ! The side salad was huge as well. Everything was fresh and home cooked. Definitely a place to go for a lunch and dinner!! Enjoy!!
