Imo's Pizza - Saint Louis

Great service and consistently delicious food. That's exactly what you need from an Imo's!

I had the most delicious pizza last night delivered directly by Imo's (not through Uber, DoorDash, etc.—which, by the way, take a hefty share of restaurants' profits, folks!). I hadn't had Imo's in a while, and this pizza was absolutely fantastic! The delivery driver was prompt and very polite. In response to another recent review mentioning that the cheese tasted like Velveeta, I recommend trying the mozzarella/provel cheese mix next time instead of the standard all-provel. You're right that the provel is softer, which many locals enjoy, but it's just not to my taste! Thank you, Imo's on Hampton, for making my Saturday night so delicious!

This restaurant offers a classic St. Louis-style thin crust pizza topped with provel cheese. In addition to the pizza, they have excellent side dishes such as a fresh salad, toasted ravioli, and garlic cheese bread.

I find it quite rude that companies require customers to leave reviews, but they seem to be ashamed if the feedback isn’t positive. However, having spent a long career in security, I’ve become an observer of human interactions, paying close attention to how staff members and fellow customers interact and respond to one another. Overall, I appreciate the people I've met during my visits. Most of my experiences occurred during the chaotic days of COVID. I worked as a delivery driver for DoorDash, GrubHub, and UberEats, but I’ve stepped back from that due to various issues, including the behavior of some restaurant customers, safety concerns, and poor furnishings. Regardless, I absolutely loved the pizza from this place as a customer—no complaints there! Now, I'm just focusing on driving for Uber.

The pizza arrived later than expected, and I found the customer service at Imo's to be lacking.
