Hero's Ramen X Sushi - San Antonio

Fantastic ramen! It's definitely some of the best in town, and certainly in the area. The sushi was great as well, although I found the rice to be a bit undercooked. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. While the sushi selection isn't extensive—the menu is quite compact overall—it offers everything you need, all with excellent quality.

You need to place your order before being seated, which doesn't leave much time to review the menu, especially during busy hours. The staff member who took my order was not very helpful and seemed irritated when I asked for recommendations. After my friend and I were seated (just the two of us), I decided to switch seats as I didn't want to sit by the window, and he appeared visibly unhappy about my choice. I’m giving it 3 stars because the food was delicious, and I highly recommend the hot green tea—it was absolutely fantastic!

Try the Hero roll! If you want to support local business with authentic sushi this is your spot! Kinda tight inside but will return in better weather to enjoy patio! warming little parking but it?s worth it! They have a cute little mini store and enjoyed mochi treats too!! yumm!! I?ll be back to tey nore and see if we can make this ?? rating a 5!!!

With the cooler weather setting in, we were in the mood for something warm, so we searched for a ramen spot with outdoor seating. When I inquired about the availability of outdoor seating via Facebook, the response was simply asking when we would be ordering. Thankfully, they were accommodating to our request. My husband and I both decided on the Hero's Tonkotsu Ramen, and I shared a bowl with my dad. The broth was delightful and pleasantly mild, which is exactly what we were hoping for. We also tried the seaweed salad and the Salmon Lover Bowl. The portions were quite generous, leaving us with plenty of salmon and seaweed salad to take home. While the ramen was excellent, the salmon was just average, which is why I gave it 4 stars. We truly appreciated the outdoor seating and look forward to returning.

The best sushi ????!!! My husband and I first time here and we are very impressed with all of the food, drinks, service and atmosphere!! We only ordered the sushi this round, but next time we are trying the ramen! It looks so delicious!! The Kimchi is authentic!!!
