Mash'd San Antonio

Our server was less than friendly. She was in a hurry, tried to run off each time before we were done ordering, never checked on us- not even once. Had to flag her down each time and still she rushed and it was not that busy. It was busy, but not crazy. We are frequent flyers for brunch and we’ve had her before and she was great. But not this time. It was by far terrible service and super sad as it reminds us why we don’t come for dinner usually. She just was not interested in us a bit but was laughing and took her time with other tables so I’m not sure what it was. I was excited to have her again and then womp womp. We were more than friendly with her. I didn’t even want to tip her it was that bad but as a fellow server felt obligated.

The food quality was low—we had the Baja fish tacos and the chicken avocado taco. The cocktails were almost tasteless.

Our waitress had a great sense of humor and was very nice. We ordered a lot of food and all of it was good minus the chicken sandwich, the breading kind of fell off the chicken when we cut it in half. We ordered a pizza and it never came but we were stuffed by the time I realized it wasn’t coming so no biggie. Manager came up to us and apologized. It was nice of him to do so. Drinks were hit or miss, but it was cool trying new things. The queso was probably the best thing I’ve ever tried, and overall i would come back.

Food (avocado hummus, bulgogi mahi tacos) was ok, but service was great. Music was really loud so was hard to have a conversation.

Great food our servers were so much fun! Really enjoyed the unique moonshine cocktails, too. Wasn't very crowded for our Thu visit. So not loud at all easy to have a conversation, which we really appreciate in restaurants. Not sure what a crowded night would be like. We'll def be back!
