Tandoor Palace Indian - San Antonio

Was passing through S A and found this gem. Good variety of vegetarian options, authentic food and reasonably priced. This is an all day buffet so , Enjoy.

My family of 4 went on Christmas Day. The service was excellent. The two gentlemen at the cashier desk welcomed us well. The Buffett was available to go and the options were plenty. All the food was excellent. My daughter wanted butter chicken which was not available at the buffet but the restaurant was willing to make some for her. She ended up getting the tikka masala and loved it. We also got PLENTY of garlic naan to go. Excellent experience. I will definitely come back.

It’s hard to have self control with a buffet this yummy! The quality of food is always consistent. Love the cozy atmosphere. Great for a casual business lunch or meeting up with friends. There’s plenty of options to choose from, but be sure to save room for their mango pudding.

We have dined in and taken carry-out. They customize the level of spice effectively; i.e., when we ask for more spice, we can still taste the defining flavors of the dish. The chicken Tikka kebabs, chicken vindaloo, channa masala, biryani masala, and aloo paratha are very good.

Never judge a book by its cover. From the outside, the restaurant does not seem to be worth trying, but once you enter, you start getting that wonderful authentic aroma of indian spices. Very clean and food is delicious. I've had food at other Indian restaurants that don't serve buffet, and it wasn't as good as Tandoor Palace. Like most places, your experience may differ depending on how busy it is.
