Bidra med feedbackCafe GSC is fantastic.Been coming here for many years because the food is always delicious and makes you feel good.Among my favorites are the I Am Daring (buffalo cauliflower , the I Am Soulful (tempeh reuben? with the nacho potatoes upgraded side.Their food is organic, almost entirely made in house from scratch/sourced locally and fresh. They have a cool mural inside the entire restaurant including many local landmarks, and Cafe G is a locally owned/family owned business too. Cool peeps!Absolutely worth a visit if you haven't tried their food yet.
Everything from the wall art to the food to the people was good vibes. I am cool mint milkshake was phenomenal. Also got the Cesar salad added tempeh, which was bomb?
Great vegan food in SC area. We’ve tried several dishes and they were all tasty. I wished the chipotle sauce would not come on literally almost every meal for more variety. And the key lime pie was sour not sweet at all. I don’t recommend that one. I think if they’d add some maple syrup in it would be excellent. The service is non existent. Your order in the front, pay your service charge plus tip and no one will ever check in with you again other than being you the food. So maybe next time don’t leave a tip on top of the service charge. All in all I would definitely eat here again.
Visiting SC for the first time as an adult, and as a vegan, this foodie had to make a few stops for vegan nom noms. This was restaurant number 2. It was so hard deciding what to order. The staff was so patient with me and answered my questions. After contemplating for like 10 whole minutes I finally went with the Rueben with the potatoes upgrade and both the mild almond and cashew chipotle sauces. Every bit of it was so-friggin-good! The potatoes were cooked to perfection, the sauces were both flavorful. The Rueben was smaller than expected so the flavor and beautiful colors made up for it, not to mention how filling the tators are. I also got the avo lime cheesecake which was ok-many ppl raved about it so I thought I'd love it knowing how much I love avo and lime. Something about it though made my taste buds react odd lol. I couldn't finish everything so I had the other half of the Rueben for lunch the next day and it was fine. So were the potatoes but I just let them warm up to room temperature instead of reheating them cuz I didn't want the sauce to dry out. A good decision cuz it was still so good!
I hadn't eaten here since they were called Cafe Gratitude, but even after so much time, the food is still good here. This is the first time that I've ever liked cauliflower wings! I see why that's one of the most popular items here. The potato bites are good, too. The soup is enjoyable with nice big chunks of hominy corn. The desserts could use a little work, in my opinion. I tried the avocado key lime cheesecake and the raw cookie dough ball, and neither particularly stood out. Updated from previous review on 2023-08-08
