Bidra med feedbackI've been to a few poke bars in the Bay Area, and I think this one is quite good. You can choose your base of either rice or spring mix, select two types of protein (Ahi, Hamachi, salmon, or tofu), and pick from a variety of veggie toppings and sauces. While their selection isn't as extensive as some other poke places, they're just starting out. At $14 for a bowl, the price is similar to what I've seen elsewhere for the same amount of food. Overall, I really like it.
The fish was fresh, but it was on the smaller side. I really enjoyed all the seasoning! Overall, it had a very fresh flavor, although it may not be entirely authentic.
The poke bowl was decent. The ingredients were fresh, and I appreciated the freedom to customize my bowl with plenty of vegetables and fish. However, it was primarily made up of white rice and sesame dressing, and there might have been more options available that I didn’t inquire about. I overheard another customer expressing their dissatisfaction about limited choices. It would be great if they offered suggestions for different styles, like 'Hawaiian style' or 'spicy style,' for those looking for something a bit different.
Fish was good, like salad and seaweed salad and crabs. The worker didn't know what Ponzu sauce was, so the poke wasn't in it, we found it after. That's why it didn't taste good. Otherwise all the ingredients were good. I will try again
Expensive for what you're getting: a large amount of rice relative to other ingredients. Not as tasty as many poke places I've been to, and there is not a lot of variety of ingredients.
