La Alpargatería - Santo Domingo

Oh, man, I love this place with passion. It is one of the sweetest bar / Alpargatas shop where I was — had the mango drink that was beautiful. Staff are so friendly and amazing here. I would spend hours here if I could, but unfortunately Covid-Curfews greatly restricted our time here. One of the places I miss most in SD, and wish I could visit when it is in full swing!

If you are looking for an aesthetically appealing place with a good range of beer and delicious snack foods, this is the place! Try the chocolate beer and falafel. Both excellent! The staff is friendly and efficient and suitable for larger reservations for birthdays etc. Enjoy!

An atypical place! In the front it's a shoes store and when you get through it you arrive in a court with sofa table and a nice decor! In the trees and wall you can observe some small lezard. You can drink and eat there. Like i said atypical!

One of my favorite places at Zona Colonial. The backyard is beyond beautiful with those pretty lights at night. Very cold beers and food is GREAT. Recomended: -Montaditos de mango y manchego. -Hummus. -Pretzel. Enjoy!

My favorite place in la Zona Colonial. The music, the shoes, the prices are acceptable. The customer services is to die for and the one of the owners, Ricardo, is the host you can ever expected. The garden or patio, the way everything I put into place, the decoration, the waiters are amazing. The food is delicious and the drinks are amazing. La Sincronizada is my favorite dish. Amazing place.
