Texas Roadhouse - Shelbyville

This restaurant has always maintained a steady quality. The atmosphere is great, very cowboy like. The service was outstanding, our waitress made sure that our drinks were replenished and was very cordial and friendly. We ordered a baby blossom onion for an appetizer, which was very good, not greasy and very tasty. I then ordered sirloin steaks, with caesar salad and baked potato, and my husband ordered the sirloin with house salad and baked sweet potato. The salads were great, fresh and crispy, the steak was perfect, very well seasoned and cooked to order, and the baked potato was good at well, perfectly cooked and loaded with sour cream, bacon and cheddar cheese. Our daughter had macaroni and cheese, which appear to be freshly made and very good. The food was served to us quickly, and the 15 minute waiting period to be seated was very reasonable. Overall this is a good family restaurant and we look forward to visiting again.

Great inexpensive place to eat. I have tried both the Baby Back Ribs and the Chicken Fried Steak, both were great. Will definitely go back. Also, let the wait staff know if you are having a birthday celebration, they have a special birthday tradition, not just a song and cake thing.
