If it's a "meal to go" then a lump of chook with big fat chips may be the answer.....lots of choice for takeaways and if you have a laugh with the staff then they will respond, always good, clean, value for money tucker

They make one of the best and biggest snitty takeaway. I had the beef one with Hawaiian topping.It overhangs the large size plate and I struggled to eat it all. With a small coke it was $10.50 what great value. I will point out that the beef was sliced thin but I say that is a good thing. Had this twice now and the first time I had chips as well. Good chips but was so full of snitty couldn't eat the chips. Next time I will try the chicken one. The shop is conveniently located opposite the park and what they call a beach. The other food such as burgers are probably great and big too but haven't tried them. Try out the big snitty.

Good value, the meal was great , but I thought the staff member who served me could have been friendlier - quite abrupt. . Won't put me off ...will buy from here again

Great value chicken shop. Fronts onto the Port Pirie boat ramp so great location. Famous for their fat chips.

The greasy chips are something to be sampled at least once if visiting Pirie, as they differ from regular chips featured at every other chicken shop or pub in this town. Other than that it is pretty much identical to every other chicken shop. I haven't been here in a while but on previous visits the servers were always either miserable or very rude.
