Crucial Coffee Café - St. Augustine

I was in and out in no time and my milk mochaquad shot was on point. if I am augustine and need a caffeine (or not) drink, they have covered you.

Maybe they were having a bad day? Such a cute spot and great location. Went in here years ago and the lady who served me was delightful and the experience was magical! I was delighted to see that this place had Boba, remembering what a positive experience I had here years ago. Last night- service- very poor. Boba- tea was sour, fruit was sour/ gross. We wound up getting our money back. Honestly the men there were really suspect and seemed like they were up to something weird. Hard to put into words.

This is the best little coffee shop in St Augustine. Our barista, Mallory, made us the most incredible lattes and she was just a true professional. We never thought we would find a coffee shop that makes a better latte than our other east coast favorite, JAVA’S, but holy moly did we ever! Make sure to ask for Mallory and tell her “ole Virginia” sent you!

We were interested to visit it because how the place looks like from outside and we decided to go in and order. Cashier was not enthusiastic to attend customers, we asked from different drinks and did not have the ingredients. No variety available like mentioned in the menu. In the end we ordered, tea and coffees, and both were not good. Hot coffee was cold and chai tea was horrible.

A very quaint and quirky little place. A 400-year-old farrier stable converted into a coffee shop and restaurant. The old barn that once stood there is now an open courtyard with seating, and a mulch base. The coffee shop has the original farriers oven and fireplace, but the building itself had to be rebuilt in the 60's. The restaurant however is the original farrier stable or the horses would get new shoes. The owner Stephanie was quite delightful and pleasant with her entertaining stories of the old property. The coffee was magnificently made, full body cappuccino and perfectly steamed milk. I had a cream brulee cheesecake (because they were out of key lime pie) but it was also very good. I recommend going by and saying hello and enjoying some coffee. From the jointing tables it appeared that other patrons were enjoying their meals. Here are a few photographs.
